Backspace

Backspace turns a production cycle into the Farmci Record.

In build

What it does

It combines what Biomes sees on the farm with input costs, feed prices and what the animals sold for.

The output is a plain account of a cycle: what was stocked, what it cost, what survived, what it sold for, and how that compares with farms running the same system.

The models are explicit rules and benchmark ranges, so any figure can be traced back to what produced it.

Backspace is where the four feeds meet. It is the only place they are held against the same timeline, which is what turns four separate facts about a cycle into one account of it.

Backspace in the field.

The model behind the record.

In short

Inputs
Farm sensing, production records, input costs, sale prices.
Output
A cycle record, a benchmark comparison, and a flag when a farm drifts.
Approach
Documented rules that can be checked.
